Before using the Arctic Premium Tub with the chilling machine, ensure you follow these safety and maintenance precautions:

• Dry, Even Surface: Always place the chilling machine on a flat, dry surface. Do not submerge the machine in water to avoid electrical hazards.
• Proper Ventilation: Ensure the machine is in a well-ventilated area with at least one foot of clearance from walls or other obstructions. Proper airflow is essential to prevent overheating. If the machine is placed outdoors, ensure it is shaded from direct sunlight.
• Water Level Check: Confirm that the tub is filled above the minimum water level before turning on the chilling machine. Do not exceed the maximum water line. Running the machine with insufficient water can damage the pump and void the warranty.
• Valve Positioning: Ensure both the inlet and outlet valves are fully open before starting the machine. The color-coded valves (Red for red, Green for green) ensure easy connection. Running the machine with closed or improperly connected valves can cause damage to the pump.
• Air Out After Use: After each session, open the filtration system to allow it to air out, preventing mold buildup.
• Regular Water Changes: To extend the life of the filter and reduce strain on the system, change the water regularly.
• Filter Maintenance: Clean the filter to ensure smooth water flow. If the filter becomes blocked or exposed to air, the machine will automatically shut off. If the water flow slows, add water to the filtration vessel and ensure it’s properly sealed.

• Proper Placement: Place the tub on a flat, level surface. Ensure adequate drainage to avoid water accumulation. If used outdoors, position the tub in a shaded area to slow ice melting.
• Safety Check (Arctic Premium Tub with Chilling Machine): For optimal performance, place the chilling machine in a well-ventilated space, away from obstructions that could block airflow and lead to overheating.

Pre-Setup Reminders

• Inflating the Tub: Fully inflate the tub before filling it with water.
• Cleaning Before First Use: Wipe down or hose off the tub to remove any dust or debris from the packaging. Dispose of the first batch of water used for cleaning to ensure no residues remain that could affect water quality.

Filling the Tub with Water

• With Chilling Machine (Arctic Premium Tub): Inflate the tub fully and fill it with water up to the maximum line. Connect the chilling unit, set the desired temperature, and allow the machine to cool the water. Do not turn on the chilling machine if the water level is below the minimum line.
• Without Chilling Machine (Portable Ice-Only Tub & Arctic Premium Tub): Fill the tub with water and add 50-100 kg of ice. For faster cooling, add ice while waiting for the chilling machine, if purchased later.

Cooling Process

• Using the Chilling Machine (Arctic Premium Tub): The chilling unit will cool the water to your desired temperature (recommended range: 10-15°C). Once chilled, you’re ready for your cold plunge experience.
• Ice-Only Method (Portable Ice-Only Tub & Arctic Premium Tub without Chiller): If using ice, monitor the water temperature with a thermometer. Add more ice as needed to maintain the desired chill.
